lets say you have a phone (touch screen and the screen shattered could it be repaired if so for how much?

I have an HTC Desire C and the screen shattered which of course cased the touch screen to not work at all, I also cant turn it on unless its plugged in and its stuck on the battery percentage thing (which is at 100), could it be repaired if so for how much approximately?

Having it done professionally will probably run $150 or so (more or less depending on parts cost or labor)
Ot you could buy a replacement screen and digitizer on line (lots of them at Ebay for a very reasonable cost). and replace it yourself.

will give you sites and videos on how to do it.

i prefer htc one v because of the flash and 720p recording but im just looking for opinions.

I have the exact same problem!
I checked with Phones4U last week and they recommended the Desire C saying that it has nearly everything that the One V has packed into a smaller body without a chin! The clincher for me though is the price - the HTC desire C can be bought on amazon for 160 GBP - that's nearly forty quid less than the One V.
