Q. Looking for phone that I believe are Microsoft, ones that have Excel. Or is there an app on tue android market that allows you to use Excel, like ones that I can email myself the document, and work on it.

You can't use Excel on Android phones because there's no version of Office for Android.
If you have a Google account (which you will with an Android device), you can import your spreadsheet to Google Docs, then bring it up on the phone and edit it that way.
You can also purchase the full version of Documents to Go (about $15), which allows editing of any Office file on Android.

Some of the newest games released require faster processors and dedicated graphics chips to play well on a phone. You will find out quickly if your phone is not capable of handling the games. As far as the resolution issue, most good developers embed into their program what screen resolutions the application or game will run on, and what it won't work for. The Android Market is smart and will not show you applications that are not compatible with your phone. That is, if the maker of the game put this information in. If you are unsure, before purchasing a game, email the developer to see if they recommend it for use on your phone.

I have an android phone (moto droid) and i am curious to know when the swype program will be coming to all android phones. I have heard it does launch this year, but i would like to know the exact date or month if that's possible.

Hopefully sometime this year... There ways of getting it on your phone even without an official app though- very easy too :) I use Swype on my Droid and love it!!
