Because many people say you have to be online on Google talk on the android to download. I can't sign in, thats why. Anyone with android phone. PLEASE help me. If possible, can u try downloading a free app when u r not signed in on GTalk?

No you don't need to. I'm an avid android user and don't even have gtalk installed on my phone and can download apps just fine.
